Whale Watch Tour in Maui, HI
Maui’s newest and only custom-built Super Raft is an unmatched whale watch experience. Luxury, comfort, and up-close viewing on our ultra-stable 60 ft vessel.
Small groups and no crowds, feel the excitement of tail slaps, fin waves and the full-body breach as our friends onboard naturalists explain whale behavior.
We operate in Maui’s Marine Humpback Sanctuary, where thousands of Humpback Whales return each year to give birth. Our onboard hydrophones allow guests to listen below the surface, as whales communicate with each other and their newly born calves!
Tours are offered twice daily at 1:00 pm and 3:00 p.m. Reef Explorer has two onboard restrooms for your comfort.

BOARDING LOCATION
We’re located at the end of Ma’Alaea Harbor Pier. Our boat, Reef Explorer, boards at the South Ferry dock by Harbor Master Station at the end of the pier. The boat is yellow and will be ready for boarding 15 minutes prior to departure.
PARKING LOCATION
Public parking is available inside Ma’alaea Harbor. Conveniently pay at the secure parking signs via QR code and enter your license plate number.

Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance for a refund.
Children must be 4 years of age to participate. Not recommended for pregnant women, fragile individuals, or those in poor health. All trips and snorkel locations are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. The company will make the final decision to change destination or cancel at any time should weather conditions be deemed unsafe to complete the activity. Customers will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund in the case of operator cancellation. While advanced notice will be provided when possible, tour cancellations may be made up to the activity start time.
